Marked By Music--Band Concert

The 5th grade band is improving so much! It is so fun to hear their growth through music.
Nate's World Drumming Class was a smash hit with the audience. It was fun to hear them speaking rhythmic words and then transfering them to their percussion instruments.
The same students are also learning jazz and improvisation. I think Mr. Becker especially likes joining in with his students on trumpet.
What a diverse concert...now for the middle school band.
And here's a picture that stands alone, so it doesn't get a blog post of its own. One of our supporters helped to pay for this precious woman to get a long-awaited and prayed-for surgery. She is so thankful to be able to walk around and to have renewed strength and hopefully many more years of life to serve the Lord with. Praise the Lord for all He is doing in the Philippines!

Growing Family

Here's little Becker boy #3, growing so big inside me. I am 30-31 weeks in this pic.
The close-up. I feel the biggest with this pregnancy.
Thank you, Lord! May he be born safely and healthy. Our little blessing is in your hands.
Papa and Malachi getting ready for bed together.
Unusual to have Malachi falling asleep next to Papa. I had to get my camera fast for this tender moment! Cozy!
Malachi is growing tons! He's learning to talk more and he likes to draw chalk (I drew the rainbow!).
I love to see Nate reading with our boys. Elijah loves to read books like his Mama.
Over the break we got to go to the waterslides as a family. Malachi really loved going "again" with Papa.
So happy! I love these guys.
Elijah is becoming quite a little swimmer.
I love this pic--the brothers slide together!

Track and Field Day

My hottie is first place in the relay. He was on the teacher's team. Yay!!!!
Elijah put himself on the blue team like his buddy Joel. I love how the other kids treat my little boy.
There we are--me and my boys. Joel took the pic for us. My boys are squinting in the sun.
Malachi is such a cute little guy. I'm a thankful Mama!
Little athlete, Malachi Tyndale.
Brothers exploring God's creation on the side while waiting for the big kids to finish their softball toss.
Elijah took a turn at the long jump. Track and Field day is a highlight for him! He still remembers the relay races.
This is precious, Elijah wants to put his feet just like Michael's. These older boys are such great role models for our little guys.
See Elijah in the blue? He actually ran the race with the elementary kids. He did not give up but kept running the whole lap!
Way to persevere, Elijah! Mama is proud of you!
Papa teaching our boy--step and throw.
A friend caught this pic, so I liked it enought for the blog.
Random moments...four kids on piano at home...
Elijah read "Moon Cake" and made his own space ship like the bear.
Malachi learning to play play dough.
Elijah loves to make bumps out of pencils to drive his cars over.

More Camera Phone Pics

One of Elijah's favorite things is Excavators! We love to discover them around the neighborhood. This one had a guy cooking a pot of rice off the back there.
Malachi wanted a turn as driver. What a fun little guy.
What a find! These are the things we do on our walks.
Precious brothers. I love when Elijah helps his little guy Malachi.
We walk around a lot, as you can see. That is why these pics are on my camera phone--I always have it in my pocket to capture these moments, even though the photography isn't as good.
More discoveries--water buffalo (carabou!).
Malachi looks like a little preacher boy here on the platform with his little Bible.
Papa carries Malachi on his shoulders--priceless!
Elijah learning about the dentist. He has 20 teeth and they look good!
Elijah watches Papa at the dentist. That's pretty cool!
Nate plays with the Filipino jazz band at a local mall.
Can you spot Nate here? I cheered the loudest on his solo!
