Luke Robert is One Month!

Yesterday, June 27th, was Luke's one month birthday! He's growing so well and so fast. I love the little man outfit my mom got him, that I saved for this special day!

What a cute little man! He is 11 pounds already!

And...the blue background. It is hard for you to capture the idea of this guy's looks in just one picture.

3 brothers! Malachi is growing tons too, and I am enjoying the love Elijah has for Luke! Thank you, Lord, for our sons. Am I really a mother of 3!?

The boys love birthdays and candles, so we did a "one-month" birthday candle just for fun. Luke is the one not interested, as you can see here, but Malachi--this is his favorite! Nate was sweet and even bought three little balloons from the mall for the day! The older 2 decided Luke wanted to share his balloon.

"Sleeping like a baby". Now I can see where the saying comes from. It all depends on what kind of a baby you have. Luke is one of those! Yay for sleep! (Aren't his hands so cute?!)

Mom's Last Week & Father's Day

Isn't my mom beautiful!?! Luke looks a little funny with his purple headdress, but still, he is cute. This is the last Saturday night when we took my mom to Jack's Ridge.

Here is my mom with Lavelle, the girl she sponsors who is in her 4th year of college now!

Here are the Beckers 5 with my mom at dinner. Mom ordered the tuna belly--genuine and tasty!

My mom holds Luke's little hand--precious! This outfit reminds me so much of Elijah when he wore it. I love how peaceful Luke is.

Here is Nate and his 3 boys on Father's Day! Nate has been a wonderful Papa to these boys. He wrestles the older 2 and helps in tons of ways, like waking up each day with the 2 so I can sleep with the newborn.

May these boys grow to know and love the Lord, just like their Papa!

Memories With Mums/Grandma

Grandma was priceless! Oh, I treasure every moment she was here! Three weeks were full, but fast too.

Here's the older 2 going on outings while I stayed home with the baby. Thank you, Grandma, for matching outfits! Now they are ready for swimming and sun.

Here is Luke on his one-week birthday in his first outfit. He is growing!

I'm getting to know his different expressions. WHat a handsome little boy!

Elijah again, holding Luke. I love to see brothers together...my sons!

Another attempt at a family of 5 picture. People, there will be a rare day when I get one that I can actually frame or print! Malachi is not fond of picture posing, as you can see.

On Luke's 10th day, we went on a boat on the ocean! We wanted to make some family memories with my mom rather than just stay home her whole time in the Philippines. She has to see the ocean at least once while here! Here is Luke's first view of the ocean...sleeping.

Grandma tries to keep Malachi safe and happy. I think he misses Mama a lot! He sees Mama...smile son, picture! Emi is there with us to help also, since I haven't been out much!

Luke finally wakes up for a view of the ocean. He loves it out there! What a peaceful guy!

Malachi smiles at last for a picture! He loves swimming!

Chilling in the hammock with my 2 older boys. They love their Mama, and I love them! It's taking some adjustment to give attention to 3, but thankfully there was Grandma and Papa too!

Our family walk on the beach. Luke is in my left arm, if you can't see him.

Here we are...this is my new profile picture up above. We are now Beckers 5! Three matching hats!

In the same place with the same outfit, in early May.....BEFORE.....(Luke still inside)...and....

AFTER!! Now Luke is out, and I'm feeling light as a feather!

By the way, as of yesterday (June 17th) Luke weighed 10 pounds, up from his birth weight of 7lb 11 oz. I myself lost more than 20 pounds since his birth! He is now three weeks old!!!

My mom and I with Luke at the ocean!!! I love you and miss you! Thanks for the mems and the time with us.

(There may be some pictures on my camera, but I'll get those another day). Bye for now!

The First Week After Luke's Birth

Here's Luke on his one-day birthday! He looks so handsome in the blue shirt that Grandma brought for him. His eyes are opening!

This is actually one of our first family of 5 pictures! I got it later from Jenna & Joy's camera. This is the very moment when Nate presented Luke to the other 2 boys. I LOVE This one!! It's better than the other one I showed you on the last post, so I had to include it! Look at Nate's smile and Elijah's anticipation!

I love to look at Luke and hold him! His fingers are so long! My mom always wants to imagine someone in the family playing cello. Maybe Luke? He is such a peaceful guy!!! That is a blessing, since he is #3! He really is a good baby. If he had been my first, whew, I would not have been prepared for other types- of babies!

Malachi is so excited about his new brother. Malachi looks so big next to Luke! Luke is such a good sport about being held by his family members.

Our 3 sons!! All together at last. I hope and pray they will become best friends and will become brothers in Christ! Do I really have 3 boys?! I'm still amazed. "Hello, I'm Jessica, mother of 3 boys..." Is that really me?! Thank you, Lord!

Each one with his own personality. I can see they are brothers, but they are each so different and unique to me. I'm still getting to know little Luke!

"Turn...hold" Malachi loves to say. He lays down and gets in position. Tender moments!

This has to be frame-able! Oh, Elijah is such a gentle and loving older brother.

At the maternity clinic getting his infant screening with Joy. All results are great! Praise God for a healthy guy.

Me looking more normal than in many of the other pics! My mom and I just loved to have time together! She was so extremely helpful!!!!! (we miss you Mums!!)

Me and my little guy, Luke. I'm getting out little by little, but just for this one check-up (and the paperwork that has begun!)

I keep trying for a good family of 5 picture...it is hard to come by. We love bonding.
