Camera Phone Pics

As a photographer it is hard for me to use just a camera phone, but it is good for capturing those moments as just "images" from our normal lives.

Elijah pushes Malachi around. This is great for my back, I don't have to do the work of pushing them both while Elijah sits on that blue part by the wheel.

This is how I get groceries with both boys. Crazy! Malachi tries to eat the food, Elijah gets buried, and I zoom around in a cheery voice saying what we are looking for next. I won't tell you about the lines to pay after this circus.

You can see that our milk comes in a box here. You can also see why I don't get my fruits and veggies at the market--it is easier to just do it all in one cart. (I have taken both boys to the market a number of times--that is a whole different adventure/work-out!).

Elijah joins the older girls at sunday school. He wants to be like Laura (love the little man shirt). Classes are mixed grades here for our church sunday school.

Boys Will Be Boys

Our daily activity...Check for puddles in front of our house and make an hour of fun.

We should never repair this road in front of our house. I also like this house better because it is on a dead-end street. The other one had sewage and more traffic going by. Thank you, God.

Happy New Year--2011! Here's the orange Becker family after our bike ride. We praise God that we are all healthy now and can enjoy family time together.

Malachi is a growing boy! Precious lamb!

Merry Christmas

Christmas morning, Elijah and I played with the Nativity. He loves to tell the story! His favorite Christmas carol is "Gloooooo--ria....en excelsis deo!"

Getting the package from Grandma! Our Christmas this year was the most simple one I've ever had. Malachi had a fever and mostly slept. We stayed home and just took it easy. Truly this one was the most about singing, worship, Bible stories, and the Lord than any I've had. Very simple.

Here you can see our little Christmas tree and the quilt from my Grandma for our wedding in the window! Lovely!

This is really the only time all day that we took pictures, but later Nate made lunch and we just sang and played.

Here's Malachi's toy from Grandma, while Elijah hits Malachi on the head with the fishing pole (see Malachi crying). This is more realistic, isn't it, folks?! Haha!

'Twas the Concert Before Christmas

Last Friday was Nate's concert "'Twas the Concert Before Christmas." I had fun helping him get ready. I had the 5th grade girls over to help me make snowflakes, which we used to decorate the stage.

They are so fun and creative. I love spending time with them!

Here are our lovely creations! Now to hang them on the stage--we leave that up to Mr. Becker, who climbed the TALL ladder himself!

Behind the curtain the high school Jazz ensemble performs, along with Mr. Becker on trumpet (notice the snow!).

The middle school band sounded excellent! Notice the Sousaphone on the back right! Last week something was wrong and the student found an egg shaker stuck in there. I think Elijah must have thought it was a basketball hoop while he was in Papa's class! Woops!

I got to dress up and be the MC. That is always fun. I miss teaching in a classroom sometimes, so speaking is a fun way to be involved in what Nate is doing.
