We have much to be thankful for today. We are thankful for our God first of all and for his salvation through Jesus. We are thankful for each other and the joy of being husband and wife. We are thankful for our families that they love us and support us. We are thankful for our friends and the love they also give.
We praise God for each one of you and thank Him that we have the hope that one day we will all meet again and share fellowship around a table. We hope you in America that are celebrating the holiday will have a wonderful day and that you will remember to thank our Great God for His many blessings. "Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good. His love endures forever" (Psalm 136.1). Thank You, Lord!

I thank God for you two - again and again and again! Aw, Jess, that picture of your family made me miss them! What a jolly bunch. I was trying to figure out when that was taken - Peter looks almost like the age when I was stayin with you all. I have happy memories of my thanksgiving with your extended family - what a blessing to share it with you and them! That was a blast. Too bad we can't get together tonight and play Pit or Spoons! Tonight I am going to the Dirksens for their famous Thanksgiving and am excited that this time I get to contribute mashed potatoes. We will be thinking of you! THank you, Laura! I am so glad for those Dirksen dinners! How fun! Yesterday someone made pumpkin pie so I got to have a taste. We went to a restaurant for dinner, so that was nice.
That picture was taken right before I left for the Philippines, and the cell phone is Nate talking to me on the cell phone from the Philippines!
