Vic and I made it in just before closing to visit the Grand Palace. Pictures cannot capture this ancient and grand city behind walls. We just had a grand time posing for pictures. These are only a FEW of the many I took!
Vic and I laughed so much as we tried to sneak some shots with the monks. We were told not to touch them or even come near them or else we might "arouse and seduce" them. haha! Look at me--all incognito.

Is this one of the monks? Is is the Buddha? No, it is the Thai verson of Ronald McDonald! Yes, they must have a McDonald's in every country. Sad but true. No, we did not eat there.

I can actually say I've been to a country without a McDonalds - Ghana has done! (At least, as of 2002 - that privileged status probably won't last very long)
