Today the kids got their halos on as Nate led them through the dress rehearsal of our musical, "Angel Alert!" It is a great musical retelling the Christmas story from the perspective of angels through drama and music. The kids look cute!
Nate does such a great job of giving lots of kids special parts. The kids are still trying to remember when their part is, of course, but I think it will come together in time for tomorrow! I praise God for all the energy he gives Nate! (and the kids!)
Here's a shot of our stage. It is actually wooden platforms on a basketball court, so we are hoping someday to have a performance center. We will perform in chapel tomorrow (Friday) for the older kids, and then on Friday night for all those we invited.

Here's the manger scene as the angels watch on earth below. The precious boy on the left standing up donated his three lambs so that we could use them for the shepherds. How sweet to see him getting involved in the ministry! Please pray for our health and strength as we serve God with all his energy at work within us. Pray that people will be changed by the message of the musical, and pray that the kids who memorized lines, scriptures and songs will be spiritually impacted by the meaning of the words.
