Last weekend was the high school Christmas banquet. Nate and I had fun watching all the students taking pictures of each other and posing with different friends. We enjoyed the hilltop restaurant because of the cool air and the lovely breeze.
Later they had a competition in which each team had to decorate one team member as a Christmas tree. Nate was chosen for the teacher's team because he is the most fun! What a great sport.
This is my favorite Christmas tree around! What a jolly fellow he is =)
After the teams were finished decorating, they plugged themselves in together and we lit the trees. I was nervous about all that TP and electricity, but it turned out very pretty with the lights.
"O Christmas Tree, O Christmas Tree! How lovely are your branches!" Here's Nate all lit up! Later that night we had a white elephant gift exchange--a fun end to the night!
