It was a joyous reunion--the last one was in 2008 when Elijah was only 2 months old. Now there are 5 grandsons (Grandpa Becker is peeking out below). This is one of the grandfathers that Luke's middle name, Robert, was named after. Nate is on the left, Stephen (his bro) in the middle and Tim (his bro-in-law) on the Right. Malachi pictured also.
Here's the whole clan! What a loving family! We had family devotions and dinner each night. Then we did various other activities during the week.

I really loved how it was on the Great Lake Erie. It felt like we could go to creation any time we got cabin fever. So refreshing! (What a hottie--Nate!).
The one activity we all did together was boating on this little pond. Elijah said to Uncle Stevo that he wanted to canoe. That got everyone out on the boats that day! No one fell in!
Malachi looks cute carrying a huge umbrella. If you saw the series you would see this blowing in the wind.
One of the American experiences we decided on was to make smores over a campfire. Elijah and I got the mallows, grahams and chocolate. Then we found a place to buy wood, set this up, and had a wonderful evening together! Their first time ever!
I think it is pretty delicious! (But I'd rather just keep roasting marshmallows).
Malachi tries to take it all apart. What a sticky mess---yum!
This pic just has to go up--for my sake if for nothing else. Stephen got this of Nate--very handsome, honey! That's my man!
Here we are looking over Lake Erie roasting mallows. Fun mems!
Nate and his bro, Stephen hang out at the pool with Malachi. They had indoor and outdoor. I totally recommend that place for a relaxing time.
Luke is so loving to his Papa!
I made it into this picture only because Stephen took it. I liked it from his Facebook, so I decided to share it here too.
Luke is such a cute guy! Don't eat the sand!
Here's the 5 cousins--it's their first time all together since they were born. Special times, but you can't expect too much from a photo in this one. (Did I mention 2 more cousins are on the way? Jess will have her 3rd son, and Stephen and Joy their first child....and no, we are not expecting a 4th--many people wonder that).
This is another American experience--3 carseats in a row. Thanks to Nate's parents for letting us use this during our time in Ohio and PA--our 2nd base. So far we're thankful that the boys are doing well in their seats.
I took this myself--we walked on the nature trail through the woods to find deer each night. We saw lots of them! What a peaceful walk! I was thankful to have an hour a day to either walk or pray in creation.
Grandpa Becker looks out over the lake with his 2 grandsons (E and M). Peaceful!
Here's that boating thing I told you about--sorry the order is a little mixed. I posted this on Facebook also. I will try to get better at getting on there! I know lots of people use that now more than anything. It's hard to keep up, but I will try!
Elijah is joyful during a potato sack race! In the Philippines this would be a rice sack =).
5 boy cousins playing on the beach together.
This is one of my favorites! Elijah just looks like he is a playful fun boy, chasing the sea gulls and running along the beach in his bare feet!
I love you, Elijah!
2 brothers---thank you, Lord, for our boys!
Now Elijah gets a turn with Papa. I liked both pics, so hard to choose.
You could rent bikes there and bike along a really beautiful trail along the coast. So peaceful and beautiful! They even had bikes with seats for kids on the back, so our family could ride together.
Last of all, I will post this photo from church on Sunday. We spoke about the Word of God in a little church where Nate's dad used to be the pastor. The people were so welcoming and gave us a lovely fellowship meal afterwards.
This is the end of our Ohio trip. Now we will move on to Pennsylvania. Hope you enjoyed a peek into our family fun =)
