It is crazy! We are leaving in a couple hours and we haven't packed a thing. We have been busy with the musical, grading, giving exams, teaching the last classes, organizing for our early departure, collecting packages for other people and I just finished putting in the grades for the report cards.
NOW, I have to rush home, get everything and hope I don't forget anything. Once Nate finishes teaching band he will help me do a BLITZ pack and we've got to get to the airport.
PRAY FOR US!!!!!!!!! WE are so exhausted. We are tired and just think with jet lag and snow how we will feel. We are also EXCITED! We can't wait to see loved ones. Oh we are pumped. So pray for God's grace!
MOM...I don't think I will have time to email you!!! I hope you read this!!! BRING COATS to the airport. We are going to freeze. Our bodies are used to life in the tropics. Remember to get us at the airport (of course). And we have TONS of MAIL to send out on behalf of many here, so maybe we can organize a P.O. run sometime soon. (P.S. Sorry for the public memo here! We've got to go soon)
LOVE YOU TONS

Dearest Jessica,
I'll bring coats to the airport, and we can stop at the post office any time. We are all so excited to see you, even if it will be brief at first and you will be half asleep! God bless you in your blitz packing. Focus on important things like tickets, IDs, VISA's, etc. Anything else we can get here if necessary. God be with you every mile! Love, Mumsy
You might not freeze. I remember one of the most refreshing experiences I ever had was coming back to Lincoln after the LHS band went to the 1995 Orange Bowl. It was shorts, surf, and sun in FL for a week in nice 80 degree weather. I wore shorts back on the flight and feeling the ~20 degree cold winds of Lincoln on my calves was bracing and made me realize I could never live somewhere where it didn't ever get cold.
Let me know what you guys feel/felt on the breezeway.
Jessica,
I am so excited for you and Nate to have this opportunity to go home for Christmas. I pray that you guys will have a fantastic time with family & friends!
Love,
T
You are both such hard workers! Great job on finishing everything up with such grace (even if it was all a little hectic)! I'm sure you'll have a blessed Christmas with family and friends! I wish you were coming to the northwest, but that will be another visit! Love you guys, Merry Christmas!
Thanks, everyone! You are the best!
