Later, on Wednesday, our traveling squad went to the beach and did a variety of activities. One of those activities was a Sand-Building contest. Each squad had 50 minutes to design a sand structure of their choice. The squads were being judged based on two criteria: creativity and completion.

Our squad decided to build a very long snake. Other squads created little mermaids, sharks, big hearts, Sponge Bob, and other creative constructions!

That evening, we had an incredible life-changing worship service by the beach. Most of our students went forward when an "altar call" was given. And, after talking to all of them one-on-one after the service, Jessica and I felt that many of the students were sincere in their decisions for Christ and growth in His love! He is indeed alive and working in the hearts of youth all over the world!
