Good-bye, Grandpa. I love you!
"Brothers, we do not want you to be ignorant about those who fall asleep, or to grieve like the rest of men, who have no hope. We believe that Jesus died and rose again and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him." 1 Thessalonians 4.13-14

Nate, I'm sorry to hear about your grandfather. It's crazy how connected the dates of our two families are - you and my sister were born on the same day, our fathers have the same birthdays, and now our grandfathers have passed away in the same week. My own grandpa died Sunday the 9th. I was able to be with him shortly before and with my family for services - I know it must be difficult for you to be so far away. Melissa is also abroad in Asia and couldn't come home. Anyway - I'm praying for you and your family and am very sorry for your loss. May the Lord grant you his peace and may your memories bring you comfort.
