God really worked in amazing ways. Everything went perfectly (except that I missed Nate!). Girls were opening up and sharing with each other. We enjoyed time talking and praying and just having fun being girls.
My student, Joy and I had fun out in the ocean! We love the beach--isn't the Philippines beautiful!?
This is me with my Korean, Japanese and Canadian students. Asians like to pose with a "peace sign" in pictures. I was acculturating =)
I also enjoyed time alone with God on the beach. It looks so lovely and peaceful! There was only one thing that annoyed me; it seemed to be raining ants! Everywhere I sat to read I would get ants crawling all over me. Don't worry--that's just part of life in the Philippines. Truly, God answered all my prayers for the weekend.
Joyce is such a cutie! I was having fun making jewelry with her and tried to teach her what the word"dainty" meant.
February is just flying by like crazy. I feel pretty overbooked, especially with things happening every weekend and with night classes every night. Third quarter ends next week and so do night classes. Please pray that we will finish strong and do our best for God. He has given us great health and strength as well as a great marriage. Thank you for continuing to pray for us!

Wow, that sounded like a blast! What a fun bonding time. I just love the picture of the exotic flowers on the beach. What a place to practice your gift in photography. I had to smile as you pre-empted the topic I will speak on at a Jr. High girl's camp this summer - "Becoming a Daughter of the King". Those tiaras are a brilliant idea - I might use that! You will have to fill me in on how you taught on this theme. It's right up my alley! I think of you all the time and miss you. Lots of love!
