We're in Bangkok, Thailand!! It was a dream of mine to come here, and we finally got to go. More pictures and stories of Bangkok will come, but for now here is a teeny taste of the teacher's conference we got to attend at the fancy Shangri-La hotel.
Every morning we got greeted by the Wai "Swadeeka!" as the Thai people bowed their welcome. Nate and I had fun learning to bow with our hands properly folded.
We learned so much to sharpen our teaching skills, especially in the area of music. I can't wait to take back the choral rehearsal techniques to my classroom.
The last night we attended a gala event with all the spicy Thai food. Nate and I are in red in this photo--performing the Samba and Indian rhythms we learned in a seminar. So fun!
